“Sweet Summer Nights” Live Music Concert Series – Featuring Tom Irving & Grace Morrison
Date:          Friday  September 3rd
Time:          7pm-8:30pm
Location:   Sweetwilliam Farm, 153 North St, Upton
Event Info: Tom and Grace will perform a free concert.  Food and drinks will be available in the Country Store.  If it happens to rain the concert will be moved to indoors.  For more info visit http://www.sweetwilliamfarm.biz/

First Annual Tony Brenna Memorial Ride for My One Wish Charity
Date:          Monday September 6th
Time:          11 am Departure from the Municipal Lot on Jefferson St, Milford
Location:   Ending at the Sportmans's Club, Lake St, Bellingham
Event Info: This ride will raise money for the My One Wish charity which grants wishes to children with life threatening illness.  Tickets are $20 for the rider and $30 for a rider plus one.  The ride will end at the Sportsman Club in Bellingham and there will be food and entertainment for all.  For more info call Virginia at 508-473-4427

 

Hopedale Day In the Park
Date:          Saturday  September 11th
Time:          10am – 4pm
Location:   Town Park, Dutcher St.
Event Info: The Day In the Park is sponsored by the Cultural Council and will featured a juried art show, music, games, crafts, vendors and tons of excellent food. 

 

Annual Fall Golf Classic Hosted by the Milford Area Chamber of Commerce

Date:  Monday September 13th

Time:  7:30 Registration & Breakfast, 9am Shotgun Start

Location:  New England Country Club, 180 Paine St., Bellingham

The Children of the BrightBeginningsLearningCenter – Making a Difference in the Life of their “Honored Hero”

The Bright Beginnings Learning Center has made a donation of $1,143.24 to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in honor of their “Honored Hero” Scottie a 5yr old boy who is battling Leukemia.   The children and their parents with the assistance of school nurse Marie Atkinson raised the funds for the donation.  In addition to the donation the children made gifts for Scottie.   Continued
